Umbrella? You’re suggesting of all things, we bring an umbrella to a wedding?
Yes, yes, I am.
If the bride and groom are okay with guests bringing and using umbrellas during a ceremony, especially in the desert, in the summer, then I highly suggest bringing an umbrella with you.
It may sound silly; it may seem silly, but I have brought umbrellas with me while hiking, camping, and exploring ghost towns. I have never regretted bringing an umbrella with me to provide shade even if people may look at me a little funny. Same goes for a wedding. Especially if you are getting married somewhere like Las Vegas in the summer. Temperatures can easily get up to 115 F, and in the desert, a little spot of shade can make a whole lot of difference.
