Wedding Tip #8467 – TRAFFIC!

taterudolphi

No matter where you live, there is always something. Could be the weather, could be animals on the road, could be getting stuck behind a giant tractor whose puttering down the road, in Vegas (and surely in other places as well) it is the TRAFFIC.

Just this week alone, I had a wedding start 45 minutes late, and one proposal clock in at 30 minutes late (now that was the Uber driver’s fault – he got lost!! Hope they got a refund from a lost driver!!), but it still goes to show that you never know what will happen, especially in Vegas with the traffic and the constant construction. (Yes, it’s always happening; no it never ends). I had a native Las Vegas-ite (is that a word?) late to his own wedding by almost an hour because he was stuck in traffic.

Come on, you know the traffic is bad here! If your phone says 30 minutes, give yourself an hour. Just to be safe. When it comes to your wedding, it’s always better to be early than to be late—who wants to be rushed on their wedding day?

So no matter where you live, be aware of that something that could put a snag in your day and figure out a work around before that day comes, even if that work around is as easy as leaving earlier for your wedding.
