Wedding Tip 8764 - Fluff!

taterudolphi

There have been so many times when I have fluffed a long trained wedding dress, laid it down and have literally heard people say, "Wow, she must be a professional" or "She's done this so many times, she's so good at it."

But want to know a secret?

It is SO easy to fluff the train of wedding dress. Or any dress really.

My tip is that you treat it just like you would a bed sheet when you are trying to get it to lay flat on your bed after a wrinkly cycle through the wash. You simply gather all the layers of the wedding dress together, pick it up, give it a good WHOOSH into the air and let it fall back to the ground. Small adjustments may need to be made if the train has some light lace or intricate details on fine cloth around the edges, but it works like a charm every time.

It really is that easy. Don't be afraid to fluff the dress, and after a few photos if it's starting to bunch again due to natural movement, just give it another good whoosh and you're back in business!
